Harridan
A triptych created as promotional material for Harridan Vodka.
I did a tarot reading for the company and pulled the 3 of Cups, the Chariot, and the 9 of Cups. A reading of abundance and celebration.
I painted the designs individually using ink and acrylic paint, did a combination of traditional and digital collage, and then colored the image digitally. Finally the images were made into risograph prints.

Inspired by the 3 of Cups card, it is a time of flourishing! Of abundance! Of creatures! Of song! Celebrate with your siblings! The harvest is bountiful and so are you! Unattached to any binary, you dance!A triptych created as promotional material for Harridan Vodka.

The Chariot
Inspired by the Chariot card, this is a moment of victory. However victory is not parading through the battlefield, and it’s not even laborious. Victory is lounging. It’s rest. It’s being a interspecies lesbian throuple who loves libations and cuddling. The 2 manticore/sphinxes (of Mediterranean descent) and their knight (of West African descent) are grounded in their protection of each other.

Inspired by 9 of cups, a Hijra harpy rides an inter-dimensional leopard-donkey. Fairies croon around them with goblets of decadence. In this orange grove there is abundance, in fact, there is a wish waiting to be spoken. This is abundance is here, now, but it’s also in transience. It’s ephemeral. Enjoy it while it’s here, for it won’t be here for long.
