A Note About Paper Art
Paper art or cut paper is a tool in my repertoire, but it was born out of external pressure to simplify my creative vision. It felt like my only option of expression for years. I’m grateful to cut paper as a tool and for what it has taught me, but it is no longer the main form of my artistic practice. I prefer to create mixed media paintings, which often inevitably include cut paper. But cut paper has a rigid and controlled quality that I no longer hold in my body. I now flow and strive to dance with the mediums freely.
I am willing to do cut paper commissions for additional appropriate fees if that best suits your vision.
