On the back of this size 5x jacket is a portrait of a Lamia that I drew in ink and then translated into an airbrush painting. In mystical Jewish lore, Adam had a first wife named Lilith, who was disobedient. She was turned into a demon called a Lamia for her independence. It's said that she eats babies. She is a reoccurring figure in my art; to me, she is a sacred deity of independence, solopoly, and abortion. Around her are the alchemical symbol of the sun and moon and the star of David. The front of this jacket was based on an unfinished saint portrait. A strange incorporeal spirit/demon/entity has replaced the saint.
